DESCRIPTION:The meeting will be held at the Colman Office\, 4655 S Dearborn
  St.\, Auditorium. The Board President and the Chief Executive Officer hav
 e determined that registered speakers who wish to present during Public Pa
 rticipation may have the option to participate in person at the location o
 f the Board meeting or virtually via an electronic platform. The public wi
 ll have access to the meeting via live stream at cpsboe.org.\nThe Public P
 articipation segment of the meeting will begin as indicated in the meeting
  agenda and proceed in accordance with Public Participation guidelines. Bo
 ard Meetings will be live-streamed to the general public on the Board webs
 ite (www.cpsboe.org). \nFor the December 12\, 2024 Board Meeting\, advance
  registration to speak will be available beginning Tuesday\, December 10th
  at 10:30 a.m. and will close on Wednesday\, December 11th  at 10:30 a.m. 
 Anyone interested in speaking can sign up. After the 24 hour registration 
 period\, a lottery will randomly select a set number of speakers from thos
 e who registered. For example\, if 100 people register\, the lottery might
  select 30 of them to speak. This process gives everyone a fair chance to 
 address the Board. Advance registration during this period is available by

 for Board of Education meetings can do so via the Written Comments Form on
  the Board’s website at www.cpsboe.org or mailed to 1 N Dearborn\, Suite 9
 50. Written comments received between the posting of the public agenda and
  notice is posted through 5 p.m. the day after the Board of Education meet
 ing will be submitted to the Board for their consideration and posted with
 in five (5) business days on our website at www.cpsboe.org.
